At hey buddie, we're all about helping the helpers make a positive impact in our community. We've got three awesome campaigns that run year-round: Games of Chance, Roots of Impact, and Get Out. Each one is designed to support a community NPO of your choice or hey buddie, for as little as $3. Take a look at how you can get involved—we appreciate you for supporting us and community NPOs.
A little can go a long way!
Games of Chance
Like it says, these are Games of Chance. If you’re a sports fan, perhaps you want to enter one of our Office Pools.
Maybe you don’t want to put any thought into it and buy 50/50 tickets.
Perhaps you like to gamble using your wits and skills with cards and chips. While we can’t host poker tournaments yet, we’re hoping to get authorization from ALGC soon.
You should know that all Games of Chance are 50/50. If you win the hockey pool, or draw, or poker tourney, you get 50% of the cash and an NPO of your choice or hey buddie gets the other 50%.
We believe NPO’s thrive when they have 3 essentials: volunteers, funding, and can tell their story. That’s exactly what Roots of Impact is about.
If you volunteer for a NPO, we want to support them by funding your time and helping tell their story.
For every 3 hours you volunteer, hey buddie will donate $50 to the NPO you volunteered for.
Roots of Impact
Get Out
Get Out isn’t fully developed but we’re hoping to introduce it spring 2025. The essence of it will be promoting people getting out for some activity.
Whether it’s walking, running, hiking, biking, canoeing, snowboarding, x-country skiing, whatever it is, just get out and do it.
The plan is to make a donation to a NPO of your choice based on activity milestones you hit. We’re hoping to have the details ironed out in time for spring 2025.
